Floridiots I am thankful for
When all else fails, you can depend on the Gator State to come up with outstanding demonstrations of - what’s the word? Oh yeah, stupidity. (PS: Drugs or alcohol may have been involved, and perhaps genetics.)
You see, alligators are free for the taking in Florida. You just go outside, locate a bit of water and there will probably be a gator about. Acquiring said reptile though, is a non-trivial task because they have these two parts: a long breaky-bones waggy tail bit and a great big department of bite your arm off at the other end. Then there are all those scratchy claws in the middle.
Combined with a really bad attitude and their legendary reluctance to be screwed with, one wonders why someone would break into a zoo and steal one.
Oh right, this is Florida!
Video shows people trying to steal alligatorClearwater, Florida - A group of people has been caught on tape trying to steal an alligator.
Take a look at this video, taken at the Congo River Adventure Golf Course in Clearwater.
The video shows two people jumping into the alligator pit and taking out a three foot alligator. It appears they put it back, but an alligator is unaccounted for.
However, it’s possible the alligator is just hiding.Congo River Adventure Golf Course management say they may press charges against whomever was involved.
